Choosing women’s ballroom dance shoes

Ballroom (Standard & Smooth) shoes — for Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep and Viennese Waltz — are built for smooth, gliding travel: a closed toe, more foot coverage and a lower, stable heel (usually 1.5–2″) that keeps you grounded through long moving figures. Fit, heel and sole
