The Davis is Freed of London's men's ballroom shoe for dancers who find a standard last too narrow. It keeps the formal black-leather Oxford look expected on a competition or social floor, but gives the foot more room across the ball — the difference between finishing an evening comfortably and counting the songs until you can sit down.
A low ballroom heel supports the forward weight placement that standard and smooth demand, and the suede sole delivers controlled pivot and glide. The leather upper softens with wear and holds its shape season after season.
If you have ever sized up in a dance shoe purely to get width, this is the model to try instead — sizing up for width usually leaves the shoe too long and the foot sliding. Made in Britain by Freed.
